Prior to joining Ringler, Jim worked with Wausau Insurance as a Claims Manager in multiple offices across the country. He then moved to Toplis & Harding in Chicago as Regional Manager, eventually becoming President and CEO. He facilitated a joint venture with McLarens in London and oversaw the growth of McLarens Toplis to the third largest independent loss adjusting company in the world with 350 offices in 81 countries. After McLarens Toplis, he acquired Selective Settlements, selling it after 10 years to Sedgwick in 2011. In 2013 he merged Selective Settlements with Galaher Settlements, which Sedgwick acquired in 2011 with the Cambridge acquisition. In 2016, Galaher Settlements was acquired by Ringler.
